White Carbon Black

Fumed silica（commonly known as white carbon black）is a white, innocuous, odorless, inorganic chemical. It’s produced in a continuous flame hydrolysis technique, a conversion of silicon tetra chloride (SiCl4) to the gas phase using an oxy hydrogen flame. It then reacts with water to yield silica (SiO2) and hydrochloric acid. Because of small grain, big specific surface area and high surface activity, it is widely used in the manufacture of rubber, coating, cementing compound, paints, inks, plastics, cosmetics, agriculture, pharmaceuticals etc. as an effective agent in intensity strengthening, thickening, thixotropy, extinction , uviolresistance and sterilization .
