This degasifier is equipped with water-ring vacuum pump and constant temperature working status. It is suitable to suck flammable and combustible gas, with safe and reliable performance. The structure of gas-water separator is reasonably designed to assure of effective separation of gas and water and free-flowing of vent pipe. Design, Elements & Features The main elements include vacuum pump, starter, gas/water separator, vacuum tank, observation lid & suction tube (See vacuum gas figure attached). Gas volume is inversely proportional to pressure. The inside of vacuum tank is deflated by vacuum pump. The drilling fluid is sucked into rotating hollow shaft and thrown out through the window of shaft to wall of tank. By impact, gas bubble separator and turbulence with low pressure, gas bubbles surface from a fluid rapidly under pressure. The gas is evacuated & vented to safe place. The degassed mud is discharged into separate cabin under mud tank.
