Twin Chamber Regenerative Aluminum Melting Furnace The furnace chamber is divided into two areas. In the middle combined wall of heating and melting room, is equipped with an arch type tunnel for stirring flow field. The stirrer is installed under the furnace bottom under the tunnel. The aim of using twin chamber is to let the flue gas not touch the scrap aluminum directly. The movement of internal liquid start heat exchanging between aluminum liquid’s overheating and scrap aluminum’s super cooling to avoid over burning. The heating room installed two burners, the process is below: To begin with, charging into the heating room(block, rod) and warming using burning machine, when the liquid aluminum have certain depth (such as 200 300mm), because of continuous warming, liquid aluminum has the degree of superheat , at this time, charging scrap aluminum into melting room and starting the stirrer, then the stirring field force part of liquid move into melting room. After the overheating liquid moving into melting room, it absorbs cool from scrap aluminum to do heat exchanging, then some of scraps start melting, the chips sunk in the liquid. In the liquid forcing of stirrer, the liquid will return into heating room from the other side of tunnel between melting room and heating room. The aluminum liquid returned the heating room from melting room, whose overheat degree has been greatly decreased, at the same time of taking part in cyclic motion in heating room, continue to be warmed to gain high overheat degree, then go into melting room from the other side of tunnel,. So circulates, until this furnace’s scraps finished melting completely, then waiting adjusting.
