Properties White powder or colorless crystals. Easily soluble in water but not in ethanol and carbon disulfide. Its water solution is alkaline, and PH of 1% solution is 12.5. Relative density of Na3PO4.12H2O is1.62, and it is decomposed at 73.3 76.7. Relative density of anhydrous Na3PO4 is 2.537, and its melting point is 1340. Uses: Used as softening agent, detergent, sugar juice purifier, phosphated agent, degreasing agent, emulusion resolving of ceramic clay, fading agent of technical oil, rubber latex solidifier and so on.
