Description Pressboard PSP3050 (Transformer Board PSP3050) is a special product based on pure cellulose taken from long-fibred coniferous wood. This is structured into a fibrous tissue without additional adhesive and then pressed. Due to its high chemical purity, pressboard is excellently suited as an insulation material in electric machines, capacitors and oil-filled transformers. Features Insulation class A (105 °C) Natural-coloured Calandered Pressboard, 100% sulphate pulpHigh Flexible and SoftLow shrinkage and compatibilityHigh purity and mechanical strengthGood compatibility with liquid dielectricsFurther processing is ensured since the pressboard can be punched, folded,cut and formed without difficulty.Applications To use as insulations material in Power and Distribution TransformersIt is the base material for components like corrugated boards, cyclinders, rings and mouldable parts.AvailableThickness: 0.80mm – 4.0mmSheet dimension: 1000mm x 2000mm, 2100mm x 4200mmSpecial dimentions on requestTechnical Date:Test standardMeasured valueStandard valueThickness toleranceIEC 641-2≤ 1.6 mm 6.00 % > 1.6 - 8.0 mm 3.00 %±7.5 % ± 5.0 %Apparent densityIEC 641-2≤ 1.6 mm 1.09 g/cm³ > 1.6 - 4.0 mm 1.15 g/cm³1.00 - 1.20 g/cm³ 1.10 - 1.25 g/cm³Min. tensile strength M.D. unfoldedIEC 641-2≤ 1.6 mm 75 N/mm² > 1.6 - 4.0 mm 90 N/mm²70 N/mm² 80 N/mm²Min. tensile strength C.M.D, unfoldedIEC 641-2≤ 1.6 mm 60 N/mm² > 1.6 - 4.0 mm 70 N/mm²50 N/mm² 55 N/mm²Min. elongation M.D, unfoldedIEC 641-26.5 %6.0 %Min. elongation C.M.D, unfoldedIEC 641-28.1 %8.0 %Max. moisture contentIEC 641-27.6 %8.0 %Max. ash contentIEC 641-20.8 %2.0 %pH of aqueous extractIEC 641-26.36.0 - 9.0Max. shrinkage M.DIEC 641-20.4 %0.5 %Max. shrinkage C.M.DIEC 641-20.6 %0.7 %Max. thickness shrinkageIEC 641-23.9 %5.0 %Min. oil absorptionIEC 641-2≤ 1.6 mm 13.7 % > 1.6 - 4.0 mm 10.6 %11.0 % 9.0 %Compressibility CIEC 641-2≤ 1.6 mm 9.4 % > 1.6 - 4.0 mm 5.7 %10.0 % 7.5 %Revers. part of compressibility CrevIEC 641-2≤ 1.6 mm 54 % > 1.6 - 4.0 mm 71 %45 % 50 %Min. breakdown voltage in oilIEC 641-2≤ 1.6 mm 15 kV/mm > 1.6 - 4.0 mm 13 kV/mm12 kV/mm 10 kV/mmMax. conductivity of aqueous extractIEC 641-2≤ 1.6 mm 3.3 mS/m > 1.6 - 4.0 mm 3.5 mS/m10 mS/m 10 mS/m
