Application Method Adding Calcium Aluminate in the furnace. Dosage: one ton molten steel needs Calcium Aluminate around 2-10 kg, and density of molten steel is greater than Calcium Aluminate. Then, argon gas is pumped in from the bottom of furnace, it drives the calcium aluminate to mix with the molten steel completely. Meanwhile, the molten Calcium aluminate adsorbs sulphur substance. Finally, dregs will suspend on the surface of molten steel due to it’s low density and can also keep warmness.
