SPQ coring tool is used for horizontal well. To prevent inner barrel from rotating, a radial alignment bearing is between rotating assembly and bit throat. The design ensures only one of two barrels rotating. There is a waist-drum like stabilizer on outer barrel in favor of holding angle and minimizing tool scraping on borehole wall as well as the friction during tripping. The maximum curvature through well is 48°/100m.
