Silver Oxide: The sepia cubic system crystallizes or the sepia powder. Exposed to light decomposes gradually. Dissolves in the ammonia water, the caustic soda solution, thin nitric acid, sodium hyposulfite solution. Does not dissolve in the ethyl alcohol. Affect the system by the silver nitrate solution and the caustic soda solution. Organic synthesis with hydroxyl substitution halogen when makes the catalyst with wet Ag2O. Also serves as the antiseptic, the electronic device material.
