This series Program-controlled Electrical Screw Press is the main special equipment of non-metallic and metallic materials’ forming, it includes Screw Press, Switched Reluctance Motor(SRM) and PLC operating system. The key part, Switched Reluctance Motor is doubly salient structure, both stator and rotor(12-stators/8-rotors pole) is made by ordinary silicon steel layers. The rotor has neither windings and permanent magnets, the stator teeth are concentrated winding around the pole. The controller includes embedded microprocessors, programmable logic devices, IGBT driver circuits, power electric devices, software and communication interfaces to complete motor drive and control. The motor winding current direction has no relation with phase shift, which only depends on the sequence of phase winding power. The motor has following characters and advantages: 1. Can be frequently start and stop, positive and inversion switch, the motor will not damage; 2. Starting current is small, and starting torque is large (small current, large torque), 30% of rated current can reach 1.5 times rated torque, small impact to the power grid; 3. Wide scope of adjusting speed, can be adjusted between 50-3000 rpm; 4. High reliability. Locked rotor and lack of phase will not burn the motor and controller (More Safe!); 5. Power factor can reach above 0.98, reactive loss is small; 6. High efficiency. High and low-speed operation can both maintain the high efficiency. The Press uses Switched Reluctance Motor drive the flywheel, the sleeve spindle of flywheel and copper nuts frequently move positively and inversely, which drive screw and slide move up and down to impact. With PLC system, it control the product forming automatically, through the touch panel screen set the operating parameters digitally.
