Product description. The well known Sherpa brand roof top tent, has been especially to meet the rough and tough environment of Australia and other countries around the world. This tent is idea for those far flung places like the Canning Stock route; Gun Barrel Highway or any places where camper trailers/caravans are not allowed or not recommended. Great for places like National Parks & Fraser Island. You can have a room with a view and also catch the sea breezes. The beauty of a roof top tent is that you are up off the ground and have the benefit of a quick set up. It takes about 5 minutes to set up the tent for an overnight stop and about another 5 minutes if you want to put on the fully enclosable bottom room (skirt). The bottom room has a zip out floor for cleaning and is big enough to fit in 2 single stretchers. So you can sleep 2 up the top and 2 down below. The tent section is made from rip stop canvas, and the roof fly and bottom room are made from hard wearing polyester. It has a polyurethane filled aluminium bed base for strength and insulation and a huge bed with a 60mm thick mattress. The mattress can zip off for cleaning. The tent has both internal and external window flaps, so there is no need to go outside when it is raining to close windows. There are internal storage pockets and steel stays to peg out the windows. It has a heavy duty 2 piece travel cover, which is joined by a zipper and Velcro. The tent can be mounted to the rear or sideways. Fitting instructions are included along with an owners manual. Separate bags are included for the window poles etc. The total unit weighs around 55kgs. An extension kit is provided which can be zipped into the bottom room incase your 4x4 is fitted with a lift kit. We guarantee the best quality and best price.
