But after development of composite permeable polyure-thane using polyurethane adhesive and EPDM granule , the granule EPDM polyurethane veneer came into emergance .This kind of PU veneer neednot dewatering and can be used at anytime . Compared with PU veneer ,EPDM was cheaper , easy to construct , but the life expectancy may be shorter as the adhesive propertiy might influenced after exposing to strong sunlight and rain ,causing the change in the macromolecule and therefore the EPDM granule might fall off ,and the PU veneer might lost its function after 2-3years usage , althought it can be respray , the bottom layer might fall apart and the loss might outweight the gain .
