PSA Nitrogen Generator Introduction: PSA(Pressure Swing Adsorption) NitrogenGenerator is a new type hi-tech equipment with carbon molecular sieve adsorption, which uses compressed air as the feed material and molecular sieve as the adsorbent to produce nitrogen gas. Under the normal temperature and pressure, the adsorption and diffusion speed of oxygen in the molecular sieve is different from the nitrogen, thus, through the switch on/off of the PLC pneumatic valves, the oxygen and the nitrogen can be seperated by increasing the pressure for adsorbing and decreasing the pressure for desorbing to obtain the high purity nitrogen. The PDP series nitrogen plant produces nitrogen with purity from 95% to 99.999%. The production capacity ranges from 1Nm³/h to 3000 Nm³/h. In case the user needs higher purity nitrogen, the DHD series nitrogen purifing unit could be attached to PSA nitrogen plant to increase the nitrogen purity up to 99.9999%, while the dew point could reach -70C°and the oxygen content is only about 2ppm. When the compressed air pass through the column A , the oxygen is adsorbed by the CMC while the nitrogen flows into the nitrogen surge tank About 58 minutes later, when columns A and B have been balanced, the nitrogen is switched over to column B for the above-said process and column A vents the adsorbed oxygen through the silencer. Thus, the two columns do the adsorption and regeneration alternately to ensure the continual output of the nitrogen.
