It runs on very little electricity (DC12V/0.9A), uses Motorola integrated power amplifier with power of 8W, transmits 500-800 meters with obstacles(use 3dBi antennas), 800-1500 meters in a clear line, no heat sink and it is not very hot. Special audio and video interfaces can connect to the camera directly and power supply for it,reduce the unnecessary connect wires.
