3100 production description (light alloy poly putty)Application& Characteristic This product is light alloy putty, belonging to bi-component BPO system. The hardener has no pungent smells, with environmental protection and the proportion is only 1.0. It is the most popular product in Europe and America, particularly easy scraping and polishing. Compared with the same quality and weight putty, it has the larger application area, cheaper comprehensive cost, with refined graybody, and good adhesion in all kinds of metal substrate surface (anodic alumina except). Scope of construction: It can be used in iron panel, steel plate, aluminum plate, alloy plate, galvanized sheet, FRP and on any painted metallic surface. Main performance indexes: Itemindexes Test method Flexibility(mm)50 GB/T1748Impact strength(kg.cm)≥15GB/T1732Thermal resistance1h baking under 120 No bubble, no crackGB/T1735AdhesionFirst classBending methodproportion1.0GB/T6750Sanding propertyEasy sandingHand feel Application: 1Remove the oil, rust, original paint film and water etc from surface completely, keep the painted surface clean & dry before scraping. 2.The putty may cause uneven in the process of storage, must use clean ruler stir well before the use. 3The putty and hardener should be mixed completely to achieve the uniformity of color (general ratio is 100:2 by weight), and apply the mixture within potlife(1-3min), or it will gel. 4Apply the mixtured putty to the processed surface of primer or cold-reduced sheet, in case of scraping of thick coat, it is preferable to apply in thin coats for several times till reaching the objective thickness. 5Sanding should be made after hardened thoroughly. The best dry milling time is 30min after applying putty, (The temperature is 25, humidity is less than 40%). Ensure the putty has been completely dry when painting, lest drop off or bubbles. Notices: 1When there is air bubble while applying, fully scrape to evenness with spatula to ensure good adhesion. 2The putty mixed with hardeners should not be returned to the original container, container which is opened must be carefully resealed, lest volatilization &deterioration of solvent. Do not mix lacquer thinner to putty. 3. When there is low temperature or high relative humidity, curing time of coating will be extended somewhat. The corresponding adjustment can be made to the consistency and gel time of putty according to the customers request. 4Our product matches with various primers, but not in phenolic primers and alkyd primers, lest drop off or bubbles. Ensure the primer has been thoroughly dry when applying putty, or cause drop off. 5The putty has special hardener,can not match with others. 6The shelf life can be up to 12 months at the cool place (under 25).
