Piston Dead weight Tester_2010 series DWT2000-series piston deadweight testers (DWTs) are high precision calibration instruments for the test and calibration of pressure instruments, including analog gauges, transducers, transmitters, and calibrators. These DWTs are designed in two versions: pneumatic DWT2010-series and hydraulic DWT2020-series. Pneumatic DWTs are widely used for pressure/vacuum instrument calibration with a range no more than 70 bar, while the hydraulic version is available for the high pressure range up to 2500 bar. Features: pneumatic (DWT2010) and hydraulic (DWT2020) versions available pressure ranges: pneumatic version: -0.95 0 bar, ...,1 70 bar hydraulic version: 0.4 6 bar, ..., 50 2500 bar high accuracy: up to 0.005 % of reading long-term stability and high reliability mass-set made from stainless steel Working principle Each of DWT2000-series DWTs has one piston-cylinder assembly. The piston travels up and down within the cylinder. Operator manually loads masses which apply downward force on the piston, and applies enough pressure to “float” the piston inside the cylinder. The applied pressure is proportional to the weight of the masses loaded. By applying correct masses, the test pressure is precisely set.
