PCM Multiplexer

PCM Multiplexer integrates1-30 channels of voice data into 1-4E1interfaces and cross-connect all the 128 units of 64K time slots flexibly through net-work management software. The 30 channels could be of any interface type and each card accmmodates 2 channels. Multiple protections have been applied for safety and reliability. There are lightening proof,anti-magnet and anti-surge protections for the equipment. with the help of network management software(NMS), the PCM euipment could select routing port automatically.The 4/8 V.35/V.24 interfaces in the cantral multiplex module can be of DCE type. The configuration of cross connect can be achieved by either NMS or prepared proposal.The cross connect data are stored in the EEPROM so that it will not be affected by equipment reset or power off. The sub frame is made of stainless steel. ALL PCM30 equipments in a system have their own frame memory and synchronization phase-Locked system This made the synchronization system reliable in despite of the error of the master timing source.
