Mechanical Drilling Jar

Mechanical Drilling jar as developed and manufactured by the company is a mechanical tool performing drilling jarring and releasing functions. Integrated with up jarring and down jarring functions, the device can be used to resolve downhole stuck problems and has become the first choice in selecting tools for drilling directional and deep wells. Mechanical drilling jar is highlighted by following features: (1) the change of hydraulic oil in inner chamber does not affect jarring effects owing to the application of mechanical structure to the device; (2) high pressure does not occur in the inner chamber, which provides good sealing performance. This makes it possible to lengthen the service life of the device greatly. (3) Tonnage for down or up jarring is set before the device is put into the hole and does not change in the course of downhole operation. Instead, it maintains a constant jarring force. (4)Except for the jar sized 4 3/4”, mechanical drilling jars of varying specifications are installed with tapered fastener, which makes it convenient for dismounting purpose.
