Gasoloid Matting agent charater a) Porosity It can be adjusted by man on the Gasoloid’s porosity, therefore, the different grades of gasoloid is manufacture by man, means we can control the size of the pore. Why matting agent have different kinds of absorption? Because it has the porosity and the different size of pore on the basis types. b) Formation and surface treatment of Matting agent The gasoloid matting agent surface is covered by hydroxyl(-OH), its inner contains 2.5% - 3.0% weight of hydroxyl, this percentage is decided its quality grade. Hydroxyl(-OH) has strong hydrophilcity and easy to form the hydrogen bonding combination, those both have a react group of hydrogen, for example,hydroxyl or amino.
