Description: The LNK-LR-02Cliferaft light comprises three items: 1) The external light with wire 2) The internal light with wire 3) Battery body The external light and internal light are connected with battery body by two individual wire-connectors. The battery powers both of internal and external lights. When the liferaft is inflated, the battery can be automatically activated by pulling out “O” ring and both of lights are activated at the same time. The external light is a high intensity flashing light for mounting externally on liferaft to signal for rescue. The internal light is an adequate steady light for reading inside a covered liferaft. The two units are sealed and watertight. Installation: Firstly, turn on the connector to separate the external and internal light from battery body; 2. Secondly, cross the external light through the fabric of liferaft and fix the external light on the apex of the canopy like the below pictures. 3. The internal light should be installed inside the raft by the method of fixing external light, where it is easily visible for manual operation. 4. Battery body should be installed the proper place inside liferaft. On the one hand, the automatic operation the “O” ring should be fixed tightly with something inside liferaft by cord so that it must be pulled out when the raft is inflated. On the other hand, the manual switches for external and internal lights could be easily operated when liferaft is inflated and the lights are working. 5. After fixing securely external light and internal light and battery body, shut the connector on battery body to connect external light and internal light carefully. Then the whole installation is finished. Operation: When the liferaft is inflated, the battery can be activated by pulling out “O” ring and the external and internal lights are activated at the same time. The user can press “internal light” switch to turn off or on the internal light, and press “external light” switch to turn off or on the external light. These manual operations could save discharging battery in the daytime so that the light could be used longer time. If user want to turn off these two light completely, only it is ok to place the “O” ring back to the primary position again. When the battery is exhausted, user could replace a new ER26500M lithium battery in order to keep light normal working. Maintenance: The LNK-LR-02C liferaft lights are maintenance free, but the following checks should be made at each service of the liferaft: Inspect light and battery for signs of damage or corrosion. Check the expiry date being shown on the label affixed on the battery pack. If the date is more than 5 years after date of manufacture, the liferaft light must be removed and replaced a new light. Test the light by pulling out the “O” ring carefully, the external light must flash and the internal light must light. And manually pressing switch on main body separately, the two lights could be turned on or off. Then replace the “O” ring to the battery pack..In the storing period, ensure the “O”ring is in its correct position all the time. Life: The storing life of LNK-LR-02C battery is ten years from the date of manufacture and the life of the light is five years from the date of manufacture. The expiry date is shown on the label affixed to the battery pack. On expiry the light should be removed and a new light should be fixed again. Disposal: Dispose of used and expired lights in accordance with local regulation. This should be done through an approved environment disposal agent. Safety: LNK-LR-02C light contains Lithium battery. These must be handled correctly: Do not dismantle battery pack;Do not make any external electrical connection;Do not recharge;Do not incinerate;Store between -30°C +65°C.
