High Voltage Distribution SwitchgearI. Brief of the product and its application 1.1 KYN28-12high voltage distribution switchgearis a complete set of indoor equipment of a single bus bar or double bus bars segmented system rated at 12 kV in voltage and 50 Hz in frequency. It has the functions of receiving & distribution power, and controlling, protecting and measuring circuit.1.2 Thehigh voltagedistributionswitchgearconforms to the requirements in GB3906. It comprises two major parts: enclosure and central removable components. The body is assembled from double folded aluminized and galvanized steel plates. It has four separate compartments. Protection grade of the enclosure is IP4X. When the doors of every cell and circuit breaker compartments are open, its protection grade is IP2X. The switchgear can be installed, tested and maintained from the front side, thus it may be assembled into double arrangement by face to face and installed against the wall. Safety and flexibility of the equipment is promoted and it occupies less. The equipment is applicable to nasty place of Grade II. It can substitute old type metal-enclosed switchgear, such as the products of KYN1-10, JYN2-10, and GBC-10. The product enjoys the following significant merits.II. Merits of the product2.1 The enclosure is completely assembled from aluminized and galvanized steel plate, which are machined and bent by machine tool and then bolted. It has high mechanical strength and its neatness and beauty is ensured. The switchboard door is sprayed with plastic, also has strong capacity of impact resistance and corrosion protection. The protection grade of the enclosure is of IP4X.2.2 The primary switch may be provided with VD4 vacuum circuit breaker and C3 series of fixed type load switch from ABB, various domestic vacuum circuit breakers (such as VS1, VH1, VK, ZN28) may also be provided in lieu of the same foreign products.2.3 For any circuit breaker, air insulation distance of its bare conductor shall be more than 125 mm, combined insulation shall be more than 60 mm. The circuit breaker has the unique features of long life, excellent parameters, less maintenance need and smaller size. KYN28-12 armored central –located metal-enclosed switchgear is applicable to power grid of 3.6-12 kV 3-phases AC 50 Hz. It may receive and distribute power, and control, monitor and protect circuits. It is applicable to single bus bar, single bus bar segmented system or double bus bar system. The equipment conforms to IEC298 AC metal-enclosed switchgear and control device with rated voltage from 1kV to 52 kV, IEC694 Common terms for high voltage switch control devices, GB3906 3-36kv AC metal enclosed switchgear and DL404 Ordering conditions on indoor AC high voltage switchgear. The product mainly comprises fixed body and removable components (referred to as “handcart” for brief). The enclosure and separators of every functional unit are all bolted. The enclosure is IP4X in protection grade. When the door of circuit breaker compartment is open, its protection grade is IP2X. The product may be provided with vacuum circuit breaker handcart, fixed type load switch may also be equipped with. It has overhead incoming (outgoing) line, cable outgoing line and other functional schemes. The products may be arranged in double a cabinet. That is in double rows arrangement of back to back or face to face.4.1 Compartments inside the productMajor electric elements in the switchboard has its individual compartments, that is, circuit breaker handcarts compartment, bus compartment, cable compartment, relay instruments compartment. Every compartment is IP2X in protection grade. Except relay compartment, the other three compartments have their pressure relief channel. Space in the cable compartment is increased because of central location, thus multi-way cables may be connected to the equipment.
