HGW10-Outdoor three-phase linked isolating switchOutdoor Single-phase Disconnector (Disconnector) applies to 12-24 KV HV transmission & distribution lines for turning off/on 1-phase or 3-phase circuits with voltage and no-load. It is used as a single-phase switch in a 3-phase line system, in compact structure, with cost-effectiveness and easy operation. Rated currents: 200A, 400A or 630A.1250A. It is composed of underframe, post insulator, conducting part and mechanism. It is a knife switch, to disconnect/close the circuit by turning off/on the knife. Each phase of knife is composed of two conducting blades, and the contact pressure required for closing the switch can be acquired by adjusting the compression spring on either side of each blade. The switch may be turned off/on by operating the mechanism with an insulating operation rod. The knife has a self-locking device. Shape of the switch is shown in Figure.II. Ambient Operating Conditions and Main Technical Parameters 1. As shown in Figure, it is generally used together with a transformer in a circuit. 4200 400.630. 4. Normally only two mounting holes are used when its rated current is 200 400A. Three mounting holes will be used when its rated current is 630A. 5. Following parts require periodic inspection each year: 5.1 Clear off dust and dirt, and in particular clean the conducting parts and the contact surface and the surface of post insulator, etc. 5.2 Check if any parts are broken, and in particular check if the post insulator is damaged or ruptured. 5.3 Check if the contact surface of conducting part is in good condition.1. The disconnector is assembled in single-phase form, tested as all acceptable and then packed according to procedure in the factory. 2. NO overturn in transport, free of strong vibration or crash. 3. Ensure the package is not loose or scattered before unpacking upon arrival at the 4. After unpacking, check if the product and accompanying documents (i.e. installation & users manual, quality certificate) are complete. 5.Check if there is any damage in parts of the switch and rupture in pillow insulator. 6,.If the disconnector is not for immediate use, regular check should be performed, in addition, coat the contact surface and the rotating parts with a layer of industrial Vaseline.V.
