Basic Information
A brazing alloy containing about 10% of nickel. It is primarily used for brazing tungsten carbides, copper alloys, nickel alloys, staintess steel, carbon steel, and cast iron. I is commonly used for building-up or overlaying worn parts such as gear teeth., bearings and valve seats. This filler metal is unsuitable for furface braing in a protective atmosphere. A boric acid or borax flux is uequired. Melting point: 935oC.
