Encryption system HDD enclosure IT-CEO IT-725 1. Initial Encryption Insert non-encryption disk directly and connect USB cable to computer. After computer recognize the device then you can operate as normal. Notes: Please remove other USB storage first. Backup Data: Please backup data to another disk first. Initial encryption: After insert the device USB cable, the software will automatic execute. if software doesn’t execute automatic, please execute software manually. You will see the under screen. please follow the under steps. Step 1: Please Click Check Box and click next Step 2: Set Password and click Next. Step 3: Set question and answer. And click next. Step 4: system will automatic configure and reset. Step 5: Format disk. Please wait for a moment. Step 6: When disk format has finished, you will see under screen. Please click OK. Now your data in disk will be protected. 1. Encryption Mode After insert the device USB cable, the software will automatic execute. if software doesn’t execute automatic, please execute software manually. You will see the under screen. Input your password or Click forget password if you forget your password . Use Password Un-Lock: Enter your password and click OK to un-lock disk (Only Encryption disk mode). If you entered the correct password, AES enclosure with un-lock and LED turn to green. Explorer will automatic open for use. If you entered incorrect password, you will see under screen. Please click OK and enter your password again. If you fail for password authentication after four times, you will see under screen. Please turn off AES enclosure power, then turn on. And try again. Click setting for re-configure AES Enclosure. You will see under screen. Password Authentication: For un-lock AES Enclosure. Please refer to Use Password Un-Lock Disk Initialization: For Initialize the AES disk to Encryption mode. Please refer to Initial Encryption Remove Encryption: Re-configure the disk to non-Encryption mode. Select this option and click next. You will see under screen. This option will format your disk include public area and private area. And it will remove AES encryption and change into normal disk. Please back up your data first. Click next, you will see under screen. The disk will format automatic. Formatting disk. Please wait for a moment . When you see under screen, your disk has been format successful. Now you can use it. Please click OK to exit. Forget Password: When you click Forget password, you will see under screen. If you forget password, you can use this function to un-lock disk. Enter correct answer and click ok. You will un-lock disk.
