Direct Roving

Direct Roving. Direct Roving is compatible with polyester, vinyl ester and epoxy resins. It is specially designed as reinforcement for FRP pipes, pressure vessels, gratings and profiles and, when converted into woven roving, for boats and chemical tanks storage tanks. Direct Roving are produced by winding a certain number of individual fibers directly from the bushing without twist into roving. The surface of strands is coated with a silane-based size which imparts a specific application property to the product. Product Types. Our Direct Roving fall into there categories. a) Filament Winding Roving b) Pultrusion Roving c) Roving for Weaving Product features Excellent integrity and ribbonization, fast and complete wet out in resins, excellent humidity resistance, no fuzz and excellent mechanical properties. Packaging Direct Roving can be packed in small cardboard boxes or on pallets. In case of palletizing, each package is wrapped with a shrinking plastic film. Each pallet contains three or four layers with 16 packages per layer (totally 48 or 64 packages per pallet). All pallets are stretch wrapped or strapped. The way of splicing depends on customer request.
