DECER Doctor Blade, which can be applied to medium- and high-speed photogravure machines of all kinds, is made of high quality steel by using high precision production technique. As it is known to all in this industry, three major factors are crucial to the quality of Doctor Blade, that is, wear resistance, elasticity and good ink-scratching effect. Decer doctor blade has great performance in all these three factors. 1. Wear resistance: The surface of the electro-engraving cylinder is plated with a layer of chromium and its hardness is 800HV. Whether the blade on the machine is too hard or too soft, it will bring negative effects. Therefore, DECER developed a blade of proper hardness (580HV), so that it will not damage the rolling cylinder and increase its own wear resistance. Using the blades from DECER, customers can reduce the number of times to stop the machine to change the blade. In that way, production efficiency is increased. 2. Elasticity: Since there are sags and crests on the surface of the electro-engraving cylinder, blade on it will bounce continuously under high running speed. Blade with low elasticity is unable to restore to its original position quickly and will consequently affect the quality of next ink-scratching process. DECER Doctor Blade, characterized with elasticity, will not let that happen. 3. Good ink-scratching effect DECER blade adapts arc-shaped blade edge. During operation, no matter it shakes or bounces on the printing cylinder, DECER blade will contact the cylinder surface very closely and leave no superfluous ink on the non-printing area. Package Design: Each roll of Decer doctor blade is packaged in a specially-designed Decer doctor blade box, which helps immobilize and protect the doctor blade inside.
