Made according to Coriolis Principles, the Lk series mass flow meter is a new type of flow measurement instrument directly measuring mass flow rate of fluid in a closed conduct. It is commonly composed of a signal transducer and a signal converter. In regard to specific rotary pipelines, it has specified frequency characteristics. So it can measure the flow rate of fluid by direct or indirect measurement of Coriolis. Coriolis mass flow meter works according to this principle. Actual flow sensor doesn't achieve rotary motion, but pipe vibration. Fix both ends of a bent pipeline. Put vibration force on the pipeline in the middle position between the two fixed points (according to resonant frequency of the pipeline). In this way, it will vibrate with natural frequency with the fixed points as its axles. When there is no fluid flowing in the pipeline, the pipeline should only be affected by extra vibration force. Both half sections of pipeline have the same vibration direction and no phase difference. When there is fluid flowing, the pipeline should only be affected by flowing medium particle Coriolis Fc (Coriolis F1, F2 is equal in both half sections of pipeline and adverse in direction as shown in figure 1.2). Two half sections of the pipeline twist in adverse directions, causing phase difference (Figure 1.3, figure 1.4). This phase difference is in direct proportion to mass flow rate. Design of sensor turns Coriolis measurement into measurement of time difference of phase at both sides of the vibrating pipe. This is the working principle of the Coriolis Principle mass flow meter. It is for measurement of mass flow rate. The Coriolis Principle mass flow meter works according to above principles.
