Ciprofloxacin Lactate Injection Pharmacology: Pharmacodynamics: Ciprofloxacin lactate, with wide antibacterial spectrum, has strong bactericidal power which promptly acts on gram-negative and positive bacteria with marked aftereffect. Ciprofloxacin lactate has high activity on gram-positive bacteria and mycoplasma, and medium activity on staphylococcus, mycobacterium and Chlamydia. It has low activity or even causes resistance to D- group streptococci, enterococcus and anaerobe. Pharmacokinetics Ciprofloxacin lactate is immediately absorbed after oral administration. It enjoys wide and apparent volume of distribution. It distributes in most tissues and humours and the drug concentration in tissues is higher than blood concentration. It good penetrability facilitates its treatment of the deep infections in organs or other tissues. Functions: This product is a bactericide used to treat the infections caused by bacteria and mycoplasma on livestock and poultry. Usage and dosage: Intramuscular injection: Pro dose: per 1 kg weight, for livestock—2.5mg, for poultry---5mg Intravenous injection: for livestock, 2mg/ once, twice per day. Notice: Avoid co-using with rifampicin, acheomycin, chloramphenicol and macrolides.
