The high voltage pulse electrons could slow down electrochemical reaction of the metal pieces and prevent vehicles metallic surface from corrosion and oxidation effectively. The systems smart functions : Self-Diagnosis Mode This mode is automatically taking place once power on. When the diagnosis completed, the inner circuit back to work. Self-Diagnosis takes about 3 seconds. If it works well, green LED turns on for 3 seconds. If it performs abnormally, red LED turns on for 3 seconds and then the system stops. Others please see the detailed description showing below. Note: 12V - 12.7V, green LED flashes; 12.7V - 14.5V, LED turns solid green. Hi or Low Voltage Protection The Pro-Coat works within Voltage range of 12V - 14.5V. Too high or too low voltage, the system turns off automatically. It prevents excessive battery drainage when the battery is too weak or the system being damaged when the voltage is too high. If the system shuts off due to any of these conditions, yellow LED flashes. Temperature Protection In cold winter, the performance of the vehicles battery will be not so well. Its difficult to retrofire. The system will automatically shut off if the temperature is below -10 in order to reduce electric power consumption. And in hot summer, for security, the system will automatically shut off if the temperature is above 85. If the system shuts off due high/low temperature, yellow LED flashes. Within the range of -10 to 85, the system works and green LED turns on. Circuitry ProtectionPad self-protection It is incorporated into the Pro-Coats software design to allow the system shutting off in the event of a short or loss of connection to the Coupler Pad. If the system shuts off due to short circle between the vehicle body and the coupler pad or loss of adhesion of the Coupler Pad, red LED flashes. Electric Current Protection If the electric current is above 600mA, the system shuts off automatically and the red LED flashes.
