AMSDT can serve independently or be combined with other two same units into a three-phase transformer group. It is especially applicable for urban power networks and rural power networks with light load and no-load for long time, where its characteristic of energy saving is given full play. AMSDTs are the ideal equipment supplying power for lighting and power application in urban and rural areas.Features The core is wound with amorphous alloy ribbons, which possesses superbly low no-load loss. The LV coils are wound with copper foil, which reinforces the ability to withstand short circuit for the transformer. The tank and cover are welded together, forming a hermetically sealed construction which lengthens the service life of AMSDT and makes it repair-free. The vacuum oil filling eliminates all bubbles in the coils to ensure stable characteristics of insulation. Each transformer passes a full-wave lighting impulse test before delivery to ensure its safety operation. A peak voltage 25% higher than the value required by state atandard is applied during the test. When the rating is less than 160kVA, pole-mounted type (see fig.1) is used, where the upper and lower support lugs are welded in the LV side; when the rating is greater than or equal to 160kVA, pad-mounted type (see fig.2) is used, where two channel steels as base are welded at the bottom of the tank. 2.The HV and LV bushing are fitted on the tank cover.
