TEDA Thermo-Insulation was created as a new product as a result of numerous thermo-mechanic tests in the area of thermo-insulation. Besides, due to the hydrophobic property of Polypropylene, it can remain its insulating ability even in damp conditions. THE TECHNOLOGY OF WARMTH What makes TEDA do such an excellent work? It's all in the fibres. TEDA is produced in a special process with high-tech polymers. During this process superfine fibres of polypropylene in the range of 0.3 to 7.0 micrometer are produced. Some of these fibres are microbonded, others are entangled at random. Such a fibre structure provides a very soft product with an excellent air-trapping capability. As we all know, the more air trapped, the more efficient the insulation. Besides, The microfibres of this product guarantee the high total surface area, it provides exceptional thermal insulation by reflect back the body's radiant heat. PERFORMANCE Garments made of TEDA are very comfortable, because TEDA Thermo-Insulation is light, thin and soft, also, it provides a high breathability. The apparel and accessories of TEDA do not get the sweaty feeling as usual when wearing other kinds of materials. It can be used in anywhere a thin, highly efficient insulation is needed such as lining in shirt, jacket, ski outfits, quilt, sleeping bags etc. More over, test has shown that both repeated machine washings and dry-cleanings can't affect the performance of TEDA at all. The analysis indicates that TEDA's average "CLO" remains relatively unchanged even after repeated cleaning. Now, TEDA thermal insulation has been appointed as the lining of the military winter uniform for the People's Liberation Army specially. It can be used in the garments like shoes, cap, gloves, sleeping bag etc. for the soldiers who guarded the extremely cold Zone such as Tibet and Xinjiang. And TEDA thermal insulation will be extended to the Police System and Armed Police system in succession.
