Coated GlassSolar control . Stopsol is a reflective glazing in which one side of the glass surface is covered with a thin metal oxide CVD (chemical vapor deposition) process. . Stopsol glass offers very good solar protection by reflecting the solar heat from the sun. It has a strong resistance to pollution due to its coating which is embedded in the glass during the coating process. The reflection of light will also enhance the privacy. Features: . Stopsol is available in 3 types of coatings: . Stopsol Supersilver with a silverish appearance . Stopsol Classic with an amber reflection . Stopsol Silverlight with a bluish outlook . Appearance of the glass will depend very much on 3 factors: . Color of the substrate . Thickness and compositions of the glass used . Type and positioning of the coating . The tint gives it best effect when the coating is installed in position 2. However, thermal treatment such as tempering or heat strengthening should be considered, as energy absorption will be slightly higher . Coated glass . Low-E Planibel G is a pyrolytic, low emissivity glass. The low-E coating is applied on a sheet of clear float glass by a pyrolytic process called CVD (chemical vapour deposition) process. In winter, the aim of the coating is to reflect the heat back to the building to prevent heat loss and keep the climate indoors at an even temperature. In summer, the coating will reduce the amount of re-radiated heat entering the house thereby keeping indoor cooler. Total heat gain is reduced. Features: . Its ease of use: . No need for edge deletion . Very hard coating . Very long shelf life . Can be heat strengthened or tempered . Can be laminated . Its aesthetics and performance: . Neutral appearance . Excellent light transmission . Low light reflection . Low emissivity up to U=1.5 (IGU) Range . Thickness: Standard thickness in 4 mm, 5 mm, 6 mm & 8 mm . Sizes: 3300 mm x 2140 mm, 3300 mm x 2440 mm & 5100 x 3300 mm (non-standard sizes are available upon request) Applications: Planibel G has multiple applications in residential and commercial buildings (in double glazing-position 3) and domestic appliances like ovens and refrigerator doors. When glazed with reflective/tinted glass on the external pane (double glazing unit), it provides excellent solar protection.
