Overview The transformer equipped with on-load tap-changing switch is called as On-load tap-changing Transformer. On-load Tap-changing Transformer is a transformer whose several tap joints are united from transformer winding passing through on-load tap-changing switch and change tapping location and its effective number of windings in case of ensuring not to rupturing load current and thus making use of changing transformer ratio to aim at unchangeable output voltage.
