0.25mm brass EDM wire

Brass EDM wire is a combination of copper and zinc, typically alloyed in the range of 63-65% Cu and 35-37% Zn. The addition of zinc provides significantly higher tensile strength, a lower melting point and higher vapor pressure rating, which more than offsets the relative losses in conductivity. Low-speed electrical discharging machining is the main method for processing precision tooling. The quality of the machined tooling mainly depends on the low-speed EDM machines and the EDM Wire which is used as the electrode material for machining.
