FL-9508 FL-9508 resin is specially fomulated for SMC/BMC application. The main raw materials is isophthalic/NPG. It was diluted in styrene monomer. It has high-reactivity, good mechanical and stable thicknable properties. With FL-LPA Low Profile Additive, FL-9508 resin can get classA surface. It was widely used in parts for automobile, electrical part and construction etc. Properties of FL-9508 resin(specifications) (Viscosity and reactivity undergo slight changes in the course of prolonged storage) Property Value Unit Test methodAppearance Clear Acid value 9.5-17.5 mgKOH/g GB/T 2895 -2008 Non-volatile matter 62-68 % GB/T 7193 - 2008 Viscosity at 25°C 1.43-2.39 Pa.s GB/T 7193 - 2008 Stability at 80°C 24 H GB/T 7193 - 2008 Typical cured functionUnit Test Method25°C water bath, 2ml MEKP, 4mlCo2+ 100 g resin Gel time 3.43-6.37 min GB/T 7193-2008 80°C water bath, 1g BPO,+ 100 g resin Gel time 9.60-17.84 min GB/T 7193-2008 65°C-Tmax 6.85-12.70 min Tmax 220-240 °C Properties of cured FL-9508 resin(typical values) (Determined on unreinforced and unfilled specimens) Property Value Unit Test method Appearance No defect Barcal Hardness 50 GB/T 3854-2005 H.D.T. 130 °C GB/T 1634-2004 Elongation of break 2.0 % GB/T 2567-2008 Tensile Strength 65 Mpa GB/T 2567-2008 Tensile Modulus 3400 Mpa GB/T 2567-2008 Flexural Strength 120 Mpa GB/T 2567-2008 Flexural Module 4000 Mpa GB/T 2567-2008 Impact Strength 9.0 KJ/m2 GB/T 2567-2008HANDLING: FL-9508 resin contains ingredients that could be harmful if mishandled.
