Application and features of the machineThe single head mechanical expander for pipe is the necessary special equipment LSAW line for oil and gas transportation, whose performance is as following: 1) Expanding to radial of pipe so as to reach the precise roundness and diameter. 2) Reliving the stress of pipe in the process of cold rolling, increase the yield stress of material . 3) Inspection for the weld seam. The expanding for pipe is processed by stages. The pipe is carried into the expander head by the feeding carriage, which is expanded by stages till full length of pipe. The machine is machine group type. There are 3 functional working positions in the lengthwise position. 1) It is the front washing work position from pipe feeding direction 2) Expanding position in the middle 3) Next is post washing position It is 2 transverse cars and its rails crossed 3 positions in the horizontal position. Every mechanism on each working position can work separately and together. Each work position can work separately. 3 working positions and 2 transverse cars can automatically work together.
