General reverse osmosis membrane is low pressure composite membrane and ultra-low pressure composite membrane,its frame is spiral-type membrane. Add a layer of porous support material bag-shaped reverse osmosis membrane in the middle. In the middle of membrane, it adds a concentrated water conductivity net. The open side of conductivity net and bag-shaped membrane fixed on porous fresh water central pipe,and set the central pipe as a axis roll into a spiral type. outer shape is sealedwith epoxy resin. The advantage is unit membrane with a great surface,good flow distribution,compact conformation,high desalination rate and good interception. Disadvantagesare easy to block and difficult to clean. So it is important to do cleaning andpretreating.2 Main factors affecting the desalination rate: (a) Ionic order:higher with the increase of ionic order,second- and third-order ion desalination rate should be higher than the single-order ion (b) Size of molecule: desalination rate becomeshigher with the average diameter of molecule (c) Hydrogen trend: for the strong hydrogen containing compounds,desalination rate is low enough,such as water,ammonia and phenol (d) Soluble air:easy to penetrate in its free state,such as CO,SO,O,CI,and HS (e) PH value:under acidic condition,although the membrane is not easy to block,the desalination rate will reduce (f) Density of raw water:desalination rate will become lower when source water densitybecomes higher (g) Water temperature:desalination rate willbecome higherwhen the water temperature becomes higher(due to the reduction of water viscosity) (h) Working pressure:desalination rate will become higherwhen the working pressure becomes higher.
