QuikCopper Copper-Reinforced Epoxy Putty StickProduct Description:QuikCopper is a hand-mixable, fast-setting, copper-reinforcedepoxy putty that quickly repairs pipes, tanks and vessels made ofcopper, brass, bronze and other non-ferrous metals. After mixing,it forms a polymer compound that is extremely tough and durableand offers exceptional adhesion. Each handy stick contains premeasuredportions of activator and base throughout — no measuringor mixing tools are necessary. The consistency (like modeling clay)eliminates drips and runs, facilitates adhesion to the substrate, andallows the material to be shaped as needed before curing begins. After 60 minutes the application can be drilled, sawed, sanded, andpainted. Household hot water pipes and vessels can be restored toservice after 1 hour. Cured QuikCopper has the same appearanceand texture of metal. Suitable for interior or exterior use, it is resistantto water, chemicals, and temperature extremes. It contains no VOCsor solvents. It's non-flammable and releases no noxious fumes. Itwon't shrink or pull away. The unused portion stays fresh for futureuse when saved in its original package.Performance Data:SHELF LIFE AT 75°F (24°C), minimum 24 monthsSHORE D HARDNESS AT FULL CURE (24 hrs) 80LAP SHEAR TENSILE STRENGTHOn steel (1" x 1" x 1/16") 650 lbs (4.5 MPa)On copper (1" x 1" x 1/16") 700 lbs (4.8 MPa)COMPRESSIVE STRENGTH 8,000 psi (55 MPa)DENSITY 15.8 lb/gal, 1.9 gm/cm3SHRINKAGE <1%NON-VOLATILE CONTENT 100%ELECTRICAL RESISTANCE 30,000 megohmsDIELECTRIC STRENGTH 300 volts/milUPPER TEMPERATURE LIMITSContinuous 250°F (121°C)Intermittent 300°F (149°C)CHEMICAL RESISTANCEResistant to hydrocarbons, ketones, alcohols, esters, halocarbons, aqueous salt solutions and dilute acidsand bases. How to use: 1.
