Polyimide heater uses polyimide polymer. This material, in film form, offers many design features such as excellent dielectric strength in very thin cross sections (3,000 volts per mil). BEEHE offers etched foil heaters insulated in polyimide polymer with two different bonding systems, FEP and acrylic bonds. The FEP has a temperature capability of up to 500°F and the acrylic is capable of temperatures of 250°F. Polyimide heaters offer many design opportunities and can be combined in assemblies along with sensors, wiring harnesses and connectors to provide our customers with assemblies ready to install in their equipment. Polyimide heaters can be installed with pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA). They can also be FEP or acrylic bonded directly to heat sinks at the factory. This proprietary process installation offers excellent bonding and good heat transfer capability. 1. Specifications: border=0> 2.
