Charge property The voltage of NiCd and NiMH battery goes up in charging, and it falls down a bit in the end of charging because of the rising of internal temperature, and a defined time: 0.1C5A for 14 16hrs, 0.2C5A for 7hrs, 0.3C5A for 4.5hrs; 0.5C5A for 2.5hrs; and 1C5A for 1.2hrs.(Please contact us if the designed charge current is over 0.5C5A, C5 is the battery capacity.) Discharge temperature property Condition of discharging: single cell discharged at 0.2C to 1.0V. Suitable temperature for discharge: within the range of -40 degree to +55 degree. Service life property It’s difficult to show accurate curves of the service life for the difference of work conditions and environment. Under the normal condition, it may be expected to be 500 1000cycles. Self-discharge property At 20 degree, average self-discharge rate of the charged battery is not more than 0.8 percent every day. The higher the temperature, the bigger the self-discharge rate.So the high temperature environment should be avoided when the battery is to be stored for a long time. Discharge property The capacity of the battery changes with the discharge current (discharge rate). The smaller the discharge current, the more the capacity; vise versa. The capacity is influenced by the ambient temperature and the differences of end voltage too/ The rated capacity refer to that the battery is discharged at 0.2C5A to end voltage of 1.0V/cell after charged at 0.1C for 14 16hrs at ambient temperature of 20 degree±5 degree.
