MP Series Industrial PumpThe MP Series Industrial Pump is a heavy-duty S-valve piston slurry pump used to convey fluids with a high viscosity.Operating Procedure and Working PrincipleFor example in a canal dredging project the pump is mounted on a pontoon next to an excavator. The slurry is loaded into the hopper of the pump. In the hopper the slurry is mixed by a hydraulic driven mixing device. The slurry is sucked by the vacuum created by the retracting cylinder. When the cylinder is fully retracted the s-valve switches to the other cylinder and the full conveying cylinder will press the slurry through the s-valve into the pipeline. The basic principle is the same as seen on most concrete pumps.
