ZS-OS622MI SDH/MSTP STM-4 Access Device Overview ZS-0S622MI is a STM-4 optical transmission system, whose technical performances are fully complied with ITU-T and Chinese SDH recommendations. ZS-OS622MI provides 2 622.020Mb/s aggregate optical ports of E and F and 4 155.520Mb optical ports of A,B,C and D. It possesses the network elements timing function of ITU-T G.813 recommendation, and 14×14 VC4 cross-connection with the granularity of VC4/VC3/VC12 and the channel protection function. ZS-OS622MI has the following usages: l As an ADM, it can be inserted in STM-4 ring or a line which provide 4×STM-1 optical tributaries; l As a terminal, it can multiplex 4×STM-1 to a STM-4 line port; l ZS-OS622MI can also be used as an optical cross-connecting equipment, which can cooperate with the SDH systems from other venders to upgrade a STM-1 to a STM-4 smoothly without disturbing of the original network management system (NMS).
