It is encapsulated inside of the housing with vacuum treatment followed after roll. Each device is completely sealed from outside to keep excellent quality and high electrical properties. Self-restoring Insulation Mechanism Prolong the LifetimeThe metallized polypropylene (MPP) film has the ability to restore insulation. For instance, if the dielectric on the electrode is damaged, the MPP film around the damage point on the electrode will immediately restore insulation, which allows the capacitor keeping operating. Factory set-up for Low-voltage Capacitors The unit capacitors are manufactured in temperature/humidity controlled environment High Sensitive and Reliable Protecting Device Certified UL(AFC10000A) protecting device is included inside of each capacitor. When there are circuit or unit capacitor fails, the protecting device will activate immediately to prevent secondary damage by cutting out the power. Low-voltage Capacitor with Full Protection The housing of the capacitor is made by high-endurance steel and filled with fire-resistant vermiculite. If malfunction occurs, the internal protection mechanism will first activated to cut out the power. However, if the energy (heat) released due to malfunction is too substantial, vermiculite will isolate the electric arc to ensure better safety. Quality Inspection Low-voltage unit capacitor undergo continuous lifetime test for 3 7 days, then test the capacitance. After the quality inspection, the qualified units are assembled for shipment. Stringent control before shipment: after assembly, the testing voltage applied between terminals of the low-voltage capacitor is increased from 3000VAC→3500VAC that is 2.15 times higher than the normal voltage.
