Description: The LNK-LB-01B lifebuoy light will be floated upright automatically in water and begin to flash as soon as lifebuoy which the unit is attached is thrown into the water. The LNK-LB-01B can provide an omnidirectional over 2cd output for at least 2 hours. Installation: The clip of lifebuoy light should be fixed on the side of shipboard nearby lifebuoy. LNK-LB-01B lifebuoy light should be inserted Into the clip like the below picture. Then the rope of lifebuoy light should be fastened on the lifebuoy. Typical installing positions are shown as the below pictures. Operation: When life buoy is thrown into the water and at the same time LNK-LB-01B lifebuoy light is pulled out from clip, lifebuoy light will be automatically activated to flash as soon as the head of light is upright in water by the gravity and water sensors contact at water. The light is completely watertight with a compact structure. It gives out an strong flashing light over 2cd which covers the whole of the upper hemisphere. If the lifebuoy light is left from water, the light could be automatically turned off. The bright point of this light is higher 50mm than the water surface because of the design advantage that the most weight of product is on the bottom of base cover. So LNK-LB-01B lifebuoy light could be found easily even if extreme weather and be more convenient for rescuing survivor than the others light. Maintenance: The LNK-LB-01B lifebuoy lights are maintenance free, but the following checks should be made annually: Inspect light for signs of damage or corrosion. Check the expiry date being shown on the label affixed on product. If the date is more than 5 years after date of manufacture, the lifebuoy light must be removed and replaced a new light. Test the light by pulling out the clip carefully and upright contacting its base with water, the lifebuoy light must flash at once. And pick up light from water, it will stop to flash at once too. Then replace lifebuoy light back to clip.In the storing period, ensure the lifebuoy light in its correct position all the time.Life: The life of LNK-LB-01B lifebuoy lights is five years from the date of manufacture. The expiry date of light is shown on the label affixed to the product. On expiry the light should be removed by moving clip carefully and the new light should be fixed again. Disposal: Dispose of used and expired lights in accordance with local regulation. This should be done through an approved environment disposal agent. Safety: LNK-LB-01B lifebuoy light contains Lithium battery. These must be handled correctly: 1.Do not dismantle battery pack; 2.Do not make any external electrical connection; 3.Do not recharge; 4.Do not incinerate; 5.Store between -30°C +65°C.
