As a further safeguard, the supply is only connected to the appliance when the voltage has remained within the limit for predetermined time normally three minutes. MRT206-F has a fast response time within one cycle of less than 20% in which case MRT206-F responds in about one second. This is important so that MRT206-F will not disconnect as result of the initial voltage drop on the startup of appliances. MRT206-F safeguard the appliance from unstable operation of generator set due to its reaction to low frequency. MRT206-F has a built-in microprocessor, which adds an advanced feature of being a smart timer. Smart timer means that when the mains return to normal.
