Function of self-checking. Summarization 1.operating principle Theory of electromagnetic flowmeter is based on Faraday's electromagnetic induction law. Tube of flowmeter is a kind of lining insulating material, none permeability alloys tube. Two electrode are fixed on the measuring tube along the tube diameter direction through tube wall. The electrode tip is abreast to the lining. When both side impulsing the excitation, magnet exciting coil will produce a operating magnetic field whose density is B through the direction that is vertical to measure tube axis. At this moment, if there’s certain volume of specific conductance fluid going through the measuring tube will incise the magnetic line of force which produce the electromotive force(E). Electromotive force is directly proportional to density B multiply internal diameter of measuring tube(d) and mean flow rate( ).Electromotive force produced from electrode goes through cable and then reach in converter. Converter will show the volume of the fluid and output the pulse, imitate signals of electric current which control and adjust the flow after dispose these signals.
