Stabilizers Our Integral Bladed Stabilizers are manufactured from AISI 4145H modified steel. All Stabilizers are bored, drifted, and fully heat treated to meet or exceed the mechanical property requirements of NS-1. A through-wall hardness range of 285-341 HB and a charpy V notch i mpact strength of 42 joules at 20 C are guaranteed one inch below the surface. Hard-facing Various tungsten carbide can be applied to any Stabilizer to suit all drilling needs.
