industrial x-ray films: Rivena Q7: Brief description: * Rivena Q7 is a kind of Industrial radial films; make NDT to the object by using x-ray or gamma ray. * Rivena Q7 is an ideal and wide applied with its characteristics as high sensitivity, high contrast, high clarity and utmost meticulous texture; * According to EN-584-1 standard, Rivena Q7 accord with C5 category; * According to ASTM E1815 standard, Rivena Q7 accord with II category Application field: *Rivena Q7 can be used to take X-ray image for medium light metal or thin-wall steels /products, under low voltage. If under high voltage, it is suitable to conduct detection for medium light metal or thin-wall steels. Rivcha Q7 is suitable to detect thick-wall and high density steels /products through high-energy Gamma ray. Application Objects: *Metal, Castings, welding *Aircraft Industries, Electron component *Nuclear industry, Piping, Concrete Film base Rivena is made under stable-size PET base, the thickness is 0.175mm. Darkroom lighting Rivena Q7 should be operated under indirect safelight lamp (wavelength>520nm). Suggest use Agfa R1 filter (dark red) or Agfa G7 filter (olive green) installed with 25W safelight bulk, and place it at least 75cm distance between the reflecting surface and films, or use LED light (wavelength660nm—590nm) Developing * Rivena Q7 is suitable for both of automatic and manual developing. Suggest use Rivcha developer &fixer Manual (developing time 5 minutes, temperature 20°C) Automatic(developing time 120 seconds, temperature 28°C) * Rivena Q7 also can be developed by other supplier’s chemicals Emulsion features Material from ISO2(220kV/10mA/8mm Cu) auto-developing, FOMA developer and fixer, processing time :8minutes ,temperature:28°C,matches with developing soaking time 120 seconds Exposed films record Manufacturer guarantees the record time for permanent film as 50 years, but should observe follow term: * Films should be developed cleanly and with best photographic fixing. * Films should be stored under the relative humidity condition between 30%--60% and away from harmful gas. Storage for unexposed films Unexposed Rivena series films should be stored into original light-tight package and in dry place, low temperature as much as possible, keep away from aggressive steam & gas, harmful gas and any other ionizing radiation. The ideal storage temperature should be 5°C--21°C, Air humidity 40%--60%. Dispose the exposed film as soon as possible. Steels exposing chart Condition : Optical density: D=2, front-back lead & platinum screen:0.025mm, FOMA developer & fixer, temperature: 20°C, time: 5 minutes.
