LD500/5 Multi-effect Water Distiller 1. Brief We have been devoted to R&D of WFI system technique and equipment since 1982 when the first calandria distiller was produced by imitating FINN-AQUA. By referencing to advanced technologies and experiences, and based on national condition of China, we have gradually improved the rationality and completeness of our products, especially in R&D of multi-effect distiller. And in particular, we have achieved four patents: 1). Calandria multi-effect distiller with internal heating and circulation, patent NO: 95243492X; 2). Double tube-sheet heat exchanger, patent NO: 98225059.2; 3). Oil heating multi-effect distiller, patent NO: 02266514; 4). Bidirectional centrifugal separator, patent NO: 200620039558.1 2. Basic functions of machine l This machine uses deionized water as source water, steam as heating source. It combines the advantages of various distillers both at home and abroad, adopting multi-effect evaporation of calandria falling-film and spiral sheet to separate heat source, by scientific calculation and optimal design, with 5 stages of distillations, recycles energy to reach best effect of Energy Efficiency. The design of this machine conforms to GMP requirements. l The quality of the distilled water produced by this machine conforms to WFI requirements of PRC Pharmacopeia (2005 edition). l The machines takes de-ionized water with conductivity <2µS/cm(0.5 MΩ/cm)as source water. No ammonia and chlorine is allowed. Maximum hardness: 2ppm(CaCO3) l The conductivity of distilled water produced by this machine is <1 µS/cm(1 MΩ/cm) l Manufacturing standard: JB20030-2004 <multi-effect water distiller> and GMP The following requirements are realized according to GMP requirements: Structure: three major pieces: mainframe of distiller, electric control system. The complete set includes: one separating tower, one steam dome separator, one buffer, four distillators, calandria falling membrane, spiral centrifugal separator, one condenser with a respirator, various types of valves, input flow meter, as well as accessory components, etc. Material: evaporating room and spiral centrifugal separating room are made of DIN1.4435 (316L). The surface process adopts acid pickling and passivation. Pipeline connections and valves are electrically polished. The connection of pipelines adopts automatic track welding. And the washer is made of materials meeting the requirements of GMP like ethane, EPDM rubber, etc. The protective frame construction is made of stainless steel DIN14301(AISI304). 3. Major functions: PLC + touch screen automatic control:Initialization of upper and lower pressure limits of heating boiler, auto control; water level of feeding water are under control at three points: upper, middle and lower, automatic heating control.Quality of distilled water is under automatic inspection, display and shift 4.Temperature of distilled water is under automatic control, of which initialization is set before using. 5.SIP online sterilization 6.The structure of the complete set is economic and reasonable and the operation and maintenance are easy. 7.Electric heating boiler begins to produce steam pressure after powering on for 30 minutes. 10 minutes after pre-heating, the complete set of the distiller reaches heat balance and begin to produce qualified distilled water. 8.Another major function of this machine is to produce aseptic and pure steam with no pyrogen whose capacity reaches 40kg/h. The quality of the steam conforms to the WFI requirements of PRC Pharmacopeia (2005 edition).
