DVL-M8-A rfid long range reader Introduction of DVL-M8-A rfid long range reader DVL RFID Long Range Series Active Reader, semi-passive directional long-range reading system, is the latest development of the new generation card reading systems. It is the revolutionary upgraded products for the car parking management system and ETC system. It breaks the traditionally reading mode and develops its own special working mode: directional long-range reading as its characteristic, convenient and practical as its breakthrough,strict orientation, high penetration, strong anti-interference and long battery life. It fundamentally solves the actual application problem, e.g. inconvenience of scanning cards. DVL-M8-Arfid long range reader DVL RFID Long Range reader adopting high technology, remote directional module and RFID technology, the RFID reading system can automatically open the gate barrier from a long distance. Put the active tag on the car’s windshield, the system can receive the signal at around 3-15 meters away from the gate barrier (The distance is adjustable according to the environment ). DVL Long Range Series Active Reader greatly reduces the drawbacks of waiting in queue to roll down the window and scan the card. It not only reduces the unnecessary fuel consumption (each vehicle can save 60 liters every year ),but also solves the traffic problems. Besides, our active tag is usually dormant until it goes into the reading zone. DVL-M8-A rfid long range reader (1) Orientation Identification of rfid long range reader The DVL-M8-A RFID long-range reader adopts the infrared and radio frequency synchronous communication technology. Only in the infrared scanning scope can the 60 degree infrared signal exchange with the internal code (card number). At present, this technology is the only one that can solve the strict direction orientation. (2)Adjustment of the reading distance of rfid long range reader The DVL-M8RFID Long Range Reader can stably identify 15 meters and the signal can penetrate into the cars’ anti-explosion metal film. In order to achieve 3-15 meters identification, the RFID reader can be adjusted according to the actual needs when installed. (3)Dormancy to Save Electricity of rfid long range reader The electronic card ofDVL-M8 RFID Long RangeReaderused with theRFID adopts the latest dormant activation. There is no energy consumption whentheRFID active tagis standby. When the RFID active tag enters the infrared scanning area of our RFID long range reader,the RFID active tagwill be activated and turn on the power automatically to send the internal code (card number) to our RFID long range reader. Whenthe RFID active tagleaves the area, our RFID active tag will turn off the power and become dormancy. Therefore, it greatly extends the card’s battery life. (4) Zero-interference ofrfid long range reader Machine Code Validation Technology Every RFID long rangereader has its own machine code. It sends out 60 degree infrared signal and its machine code simultaneously. After waken up by the infrared scanning signal, the active tagwill send its number and the machine code. When the RFIDreader receives thetag number and the machine code, it will check the number firstly. If the tag number matches with the RFID reader,reader is effective and if not, it will be deleted automatically.RFID readerneeds to set up different machine codes while many card readers are used at the same time in order to solve the interference of cars in the vicinage lanes or the following cars and many other issues. (5) Reading Styles of rfid long range reader This rfid long range readerhas two kinds of reading styles: Reading by loop detector and automatic reading. The factory default of our long range reader is the latter one (automatic card reader). If you want to change it, please refer to the introduction of rfid reader (6)Uploading TagNumber Alternately The RFID long rangereader can read tags’ number continually. The time interval of rfid reader can be set up freely so as to prevent uploading too fast to cause death to the system controller. The factory’s default of rfid readeris two seconds at one time. (7)Working Mode of rfid long range reader This RFID long range readerhas automatic mode and manual mode. The automatic mode of rfid reader applies to the open-air car parking management system. In the underground car parking lot, please set the rfid reader to the manual mode and adjust the signal’s strengthuntil the long range reader can read directionally, because infrared signal may be reflected in the closed space which can cause non-directional card reading. (8) Automatic adjustment of the signal’s strength The RFID long rangereader uses environmental sensor technology. In the automatic mode signal the reader can be adjusted automatically according to the changes of environment so as to ensure the RFID reader works in the most stable state (9)Multiple Interface Output This RFIDlong range reader has four kinds of interface output: Wiegand26,Wiegand34,Active 485,Passive485,which can be set according to the requirements. (10) Self-detection of the signal interference This RFID long range reader can detect the signal interference automatically. When rfid reader detects the same radio frequency, the high frequency of power or other interference, the blue LED of rfid reader will blink. It needs people to eliminate the sources of interference if they affect the communication between the long range reader and the active tag.
