Three-stand copper tube horizontal continuous casting machine is a copper tube blank continuous casting machine set, developed and manufactured by Wuxi Xishan Transformer Furnace Plant on the basis of 750kg horizontal continuous casting machine, which reaches domestic leading level. Three-stand copper tube horizontal continuous casting machine is composed of melting furnace, holding furnace, crystallizer, electrical control system, water cooling system, furnace body working platform, withdrawal machine, online sawing machine and run-out system. The mechanical features of casting furnace are: adopt three induction coils that may carry out three-phase automatic balancing and parallel three-phase compensation capacitance to increase the power factor; melting furnace connects to holding furnace, molten copper smelting flows into holding furnace through underflow slot in order to avoid cooling down, oxidation and air suction during transportation of copper smelting, and the oxygen-free copper is produced without deoxidizing agent; double Three-stand crystallizer and cooling water jacket are pre-fixed on the crystallizer base, when replacing, they are easy to be fully fitted in furnace mouth; withdrawal machine applies free-backlash transmission, driven by servo motor, and is controlled by computer to complete the whole process that pull-stop-anti-push continuous casting process; the online sawing machine adopts band sawing machine equipped with online trolley. The water, electrical, hydraulic control self-forms a system, the sawing amount of feed is controlled by hydraulic system to carry out such sawing requirement as slow feed quick return. 2. Machine structure and features 2.1 Melting furnace and holding furnace 2.1.1 Melting furnace connects to holding furnace and has three inductors that is triplet furnace. Melting furnace applies two sets of parallel double melting channel structure, in the center of the melting channel is fitted in iron core, induction coil and cooling water jacket. The copper smelting in melting furnace flows into holding furnace through horizontal melting channel underflow slot so as to avoid the heat loss, oxidation and air suction during transportation of copper smelting. 2.1.2 The melting furnace and holding furnace are fixed on the movable support, with a fixed double hinge at the low part of melting furnace. In order to replace water jacket (crystallizer) easily and take account of safety, the whole furnace is carried out tilting (lifting) action within 0 20° by the oil cylinder at both sides of holding furnace. Both melting furnace and holding furnace have manual and automatic temperature control system, which is two positions type (that is start, stop type). 2.1.3 Internal structure of furnace: around the furnace chamber is laid with high aluminium bricks, and the intermediate layer is silica ramming mass. The asbestos board and light fire brick are laid on the furnace wall to ensure good insulating property of furnace. 2.1.4 Crystallizer: it is finely made of high purity graphite, which makes use of the high thermal conductivity and high temperature abrasion resistance of graphite and has self-lubricating effect. The graphite crystallizer on the continuous casting copper tube blank is a more ideal material. 2.2 Withdrawal machine 2.2.1 It applies free-backlash transmission, driven by servo motor, and is controlled by computer to carry out pull-stop-anti-push continuous casting process. Meanwhile, it may be set at random if the casting speed is in the range of 160 300 mm/min. 2.2.2 With automatic adjustment cushioning function, each upper pressing roller of withdrawal machine has four sets of dished springs that may carry out automatic adjustment while the outer diameter of tube blank is changing. 2.3 Sawing machine 2.3.1 This machine is online designed as a semiautomatic horizontal band sawing machine equipped with online trolley. The sawing feed applies stepless speed change. When working, it applies slow feed and quick return. It may complete sawing to three Ô80 90×22 25 tube blanks within about 3.5 minutes. 2.3.2 When sawing machine runs, the tube blank pressing applies two types of hydraulic and manual in horizontal direction, which is easy to operate. Meanwhile, through drawing out the tube blank and under the push and pull by withdrawal machine, the sawing trolley moves forward on the track to carry out online sawing process. 2.3.3 This machine set is semiautomatic sawing machine, and its water, electrical, hydraulic control system is a sole system, with such features as high precision sawing, small saw kerf, stable worm gear driving performance and high efficiency energy conservation. 2.4 Run-out system 2m It is composed of frame, roll table . 2.5 Water cooling system 2.5.1 It is composed of water pipe, water-inlet distributor, cooling water jacket, water collector . 2.5.2 The water for primary cooling water jacket, coil, jacket water of the horizontal continuous casting applies soft water (that is deionized water) or distilled water to prevent scaling in water jacket during application, resulting in channel blockage, affecting of cooling; secondary water jacket, heat exchanger cooling water applies circulation water. 2.5.3 For safety and preventing unnecessary accidents due to power off, it shall connect tapping pipe or fix two sets of power supply system to primary cooling water main pipe. When power off occurs, it shall close the soft water main pipe valve, open main water valve, or switch over the power supply system to ensure to keep continuous supplying water in coil water jacket and crystallizer water jacket.
